This is the first time ever spent in hospital, I have been very fortunate to be quite a healthy person, unfortunately had an accident some time ago which left me with a problem in my left leg, tried to brave it out, but it finally caught up with me, After meeting Mr Chana, it came as a shock to find out that a Total Hip replacement was required, but his calm relaxing manner put me at ease as he explained the process to come. I was obviously a little apprehensive, however Mr Chana was very professional, and from the first consultation until my final meeting with him last night has been an amazingly good experience. I would like to thank all the staff at Princess Margaret Hospital who were friendly, courteous and very helpful during my short visit, and I would highly recommend treatment from Mr Chana to anyone, he is a total credit to his profession, a mere thank you did not seem enough, but that’s all I could do. Again many thanks Mr Chana for giving me a fresh lease of life

I was very nervous about having a hip arthroscopy however i was lucky enough to be under the care of Mr Chana. He is a consummate professional, not only with his professional expertise but also with his very calm cheery and reassuring manner. Mr Chana takes the time to explain every stage in such a way that even I can understand that gave me confidence going into and after surgery. I am now 5 months post surgery and feeling great and getting better with everyday. I would highly recommend Mr Chana to anyone who requires orthopaedic surgery and can't thank him and his team enough.

It is now twelve weeks since Mr Chana replaced my right hip. He and his theatre team did a wonderful job. The anaesthetist was helpful in her explanation over something which had worried me somewhat. Thank you. The staff on Dickens ward were well organised and very helpful and the physio team did their job well of getting us back on our feet. I have now completed my time with Stacia in the physio department and have been sent off with further exercises to help further strength improvement although it's already pretty good, a lot better than it has been for a long time. Thank you everyone for giving me the chance to be me again. It's great.

I was offered a cancellation within one week of my preopp I was over the moon as I was in so much pain I could not have gone on any longer. I went in on the 25th July and was operated on the the same day Mr chana checked my progress the next day as I was up and walking i was out in three days after being assessed by physio The care in Ashford hospital was amazing and food also I would not hesitate to recommend Mr chana to anyone who should be in need of a hip replacement he is the best! My follow up was yesterday the 27th September mr chana was so kind and showed me my new X-ray pictures and they were great he seemed very pleased with my progress a wonderful surgeon.

During consultation presented with a kind and encouraging demeanour. Received well thought out clinical reasoning for the type of surgery carried out which was successfully achieved by skilful hands, with minimal scarring. The teams in both hospitals (St. Peters & Ashford) were friendly, approachable and helpful.
